NMRS (Canmore ID 47620) records this as the former parish kirk, founded in 1386. The existing remains are part of the north transept, added circa 1425. It went out of use c.1799 and fell into decay, except for the north transept. Marked on OS Digimap: 'Remains of St Mary's Church'.
