Germanus of Paris
Introduction
He was born in Autun in Burgundy, became a monk and priest, and then abbot of the monastery of Saint Symphorien in Autun. Under King Childebert, a Frank, Germanus became bishop of Paris. He was noted for his interest in relics and was known as a healer. He died in Paris in 576.
