Áed m. Cormaicc Bricc (Rec. Min. 509). He is culted in Scotland as Mac Bric (Watson 1926, 166)
Introduction
Ó Riain, Dictionary, calls him Aodh of Rahugh (Ráith Aodha), Co. Westmeath. Rahugh is noticed in the annals and has an important role in Aed's vita, which has three versions, one among the O'Donohue Lives (Heist 1965, 167-81). His crozier is in the National Museum, Ireland. In Scotland he may have been known as 'Mac Bric' (Watson 1926, 166)
