Felix of Nola

Introduction

Felix was a confessor, whose life was notable for conversions and miracles. He was tortured in time of persecution but was not a martyr (there are other Felixes who were martyrs). Bede wrote of his work. His church at Nola was pilgrimage centre from the 4th century. Died in 260. (ODS, 175)
