Notes

The later notes in Mart. O. show confusion as to the identity of the saint commemorated on this day. 'Odrán, i.e. Odrán from Letir Odráin in Munster and from Tech Airerain in Meath, or from Colum Cille's Hi; or he is in Gair maic Moga, i.e. an island in Corco-Duibne, and by swimming he went into it. Odránn, i.e. a priest from Tech Airennain in Meath, or from Lettracha Odráin i Munster. Or from Rellic Odran in Colum Cille's Hi.'
