Parish notes

Also known as Kilchuimin in Glenelg, the church, which appears as an independent parsonage in crown patronage c. 1340, remained unappropriated at the Reformation. As was customary the bishops of Argyll held one quarter of the parsonage revenues to their own uses (Dunvegan i, 275; OPS ii (1), 207). Cowan 1967, 75 (+ more references).
