Church annexed to Tongland by David II and this was confirmed by Bp. Michael of Whithorn. In 1378 John de Tonrygarth bachelor of canon law was dispensed for illegitimacy. He was holding the church of Siomok but indexed as Senwick, its fruits having been destroyed by war. [From D. Brooke Notes]
