Notes

The existence of the chapel or burial ground of this name is inferred from the settlement-name Kilmory, North Knapdale. According to Campbell and Sandeman, as reported by RCAHMS Canmore, no trace of chapel or burial ground can now be found. ["A local informant told Campbell and Sandeman (1964) of a graveyard - 'a small enclosure only faintly traceable' at Kilmory. There were many turf-walled fields, but nothing suitable S of the farm, where reported, unless the rectangular yard with a small building on N was meant. Probably the place was missed. Their informant knew of no carved stones surviving there. M Campbell and M Sandeman 1964."]
