Notes
Plague-victims (for whom St Roque was patron) were brought to the Burgh Muir to isolate them from the general populatoin. The chapel of St Roque was built for them. NMRS indicates that it was built between 1501 and 1504, consisting of nave and chancel. A burial ground was attached. It was demolished in 1791.
