Notes

A haugh on the south bank of the River Don. The Don here formed the boundary between Towie parish and a detached part of Strathdon parish (north of the river) until 1891 when that detached part of Strathdon was transferred to the parish of Towie (Shennan 1892, 184-5). The haugh also lay on the boundary separating Towie from a detached part of Tarland and Migvie parish, which in 1891 was also incorporated into Towie (Shennan 1892, 185).
