Notes
OS Digimap marks 'burial ground' at this site. The existence of a church or chapel of this name, here, is inferred from the nearby settlement-name of Kirkbride. There is also a 'Lady's Well' a short distance to the south. This site has been described as ''a circular banked area with an adjoining rectangular enclosure beside the stream'. The bank of earth and stone has been reduced by ploughing. There are no certain remains of the chapel NMRS). It gives its name to Kirkbride Hill and Kirkbride Bridge (OS Digimap).
