Marked on OS 6 inch map (1st edn) as 'Site of Old Kirk of Kirkcalla'. NMRS records (Canmore ID 63031): 'The site of Kirkcalla, a church dedicated to St Olaf (died 1030), at the west side of its graveyard which was still visible as an enclosure in 1846.' There is no sign of church or graveyard now.
