Notes
Tibbermasko is named as a place in 1510, when a chapel of St Ninian is built there (RMS ii, no. 3494). The advowson of this chapel was granted to James Sandilands in 1489 (RMS ii no. 1879), together with the lands of Bannockburn. As Bannockburn lies in the parish of St Ninians, it is likely that the chapel did too; and if the chapel was in St Ninians, we must assume that Tibirmasko, where the chapel was, was also in St Ninians.
