NMRS notes on this site: The site of St Eunon's or Adamnan's Chapel remains a well-marked knowe; and his well is still in daily use. W D Simpson 1936. The NGR given is for the well marked on OS Maps as 'Chapel Well', a short distance from St Eunan's Chapel, on the assumption that this is the well identified by Mackinlay 1914, 59 and Simpson 1936 (see preceding note).
