Notes
The NGR is inferred from data recorded by NMRS (Canmore ID 58465). The haugh on which it stands (between the Teviot and the Tweed) is shown as part of Roxburgh parish on OS 6 inch 1st edn, but as part of Kelso parish on OS 6 inch 2nd edn (1892 x 1905). The boundary moved in the intervening period, moving this church from Roxburgh into Kelso. It was held by Kelso Abbey in 1331, for which see Glas. Reg. no. 282, in which the abbot of Kelso refers to this as 'parochialis ecclesie nostre Sancti Jacobi'.
