Notes
Assumed site of Logiebride, the parish kirk of Logiebride, now in Logie-Wester. OS Digimap shows a graveyard at the site, but no kirk remains. NMRS does not record the site. There was a St Bride's Fair here. The Wardlaw manuscript by James Fraser states that the battle took place on the 4 February 1597 at the Candlemas fair called 'Bridfaire'(St Bride's Fair) in a town called Lagy Vrud in Ross upon the river of Connin (Wardlaw MS p. 230).
