Notes
The site of the parish kirk of Kingussie. A local story available on the Tobar an Dualchais website, recorded in 1962, relates the following: 'For about ten years, the Clan Macpherson Association has tried to put St Columba's churchyard in Kingussie, which is partly used as a builder's yard, into repair. Capt. Macpherson describes their difficulties in finding out who is responsible for a tree that is threatening to bring down the wall. Finally they learned that there is bùiteach [a protective curse] on the tree, and nobody will touch it.' [Track ID - 1204]
