Till 1891 parish of Petty was situated partly in INV and partly in NAI, when the NAI portion was transferred to INV viz Ballagran, Balnacreick and Balblair, Brackley, Cross Roads and a plantation. Shennan 1892, 146. One of elders of the parish in 1682 was Duncan McKqueen, Rachkmore, which the Index of SHS volume identifies as Raigmore (Inv. and Dingw. Presb'y Records, 109. However Raigmore well within par. if Inverness and Bona. Is there another Raigmore?
