Object Classification
Settlement
Is linear feature?
No
Notes
This settlement is not shown on OS 6 inch 1st edn. But Blaeu shows Kildonnen at about this site. The modern name may represent the 'reactivation' of the earlier settlement name, not necessarily on exactly the same site as Blaeu's settlement. It is likely that this cill-name and settlement-name give rise to the nearby coastal features of Kildonald Point (NR784271) and Kildonald Bay (NR780273).
