Notes
This place, now commonly known as the 'Laigh Kirk', was rebuilt in 1831 on the site of an earlier kirk. The tower once bore the date 1410, but it is not thought to be a fifteenth-century construction (NMRS). The inscription may, however, have recorded the known presence of an earlier building on the site.
