NMRS records at this site some remains of a 14th or 15th century church, ruinous in 1650, repaired in 1715. Note that the much later dedication of the site is to St Luke. This may be a garbled attempt to find a universal saint for the obscure (and local?) Mo-Lessock vel sim.
