Notes
The earlier medieval church was rebuilt in 1487 and given a collegiate organisation by James III. In 1560 the General Assembly ordered that it should be destoryed and thereafter used as a stone quarry. Some parts survive, restored in 1836 to make the present quoad sacra church (NMRS).
