The name survives in Kilnaish Cottages (OS Digimap) immediately to the north of this site. NMRS records a tradition of a place of burial (OS Name Book, 1870), but no trace of the burial ground could be traced. A burial ground and holy well are marked at the site on the OS 6 inch map in 1869.
