Notes
NMRS records a priory of Black Friars (i.e. Dominicans) in the town of Dysart with a chapel of St Dennis. It is highly unlikely that there was ever a Dominican priory here, though it is possible that the friars had a chapel and even a house in Dysart, though even this has no reliable evidence to substantiate it (Easson 1957). Ordnance Survey found no remains of a chapel at the site (cited by NMRS). See Taylor with Márkus i, 468-9 for further discussion.
