It is situated on the north bank of the River Earn, which here forms the parish boundary. OS 6 inch 1st edn (1866) shows it in a detached part of Monzie parish. See NMRS for medieval sources mentioning this chapel, enndowed by John, Lord Drummond, a chantry which acquired collegiate form. The existing remains are sixteenth century.
