Notes
In spite of modern references to a 'chapel' at this site, it was in fact the parish kirk of Dunninald, aka St Skaochy or St Skae. NMRS a number of carved stones at the site. The hypothetical name 'Ecclesia Sancti Skaochy' is inferred from the reference to the parish of Dunninald as 'parrochiae Sancti Skaochy' in 1540 (RMS iii no. 2074).
