Notes

At the end of a tiny promontory, nearly an island, at the east end of Vatersay. This chapel is marked with a kirk/chapel symbol, but not named, on Blaeu's map of Uist (1654). NMRS records an old burial ground containing the foundations of an old church of stone and lime which is orientated ENE/ WSW and is about 37ft. long by 16 1/2ft. broad externally.
