Notes
The chapel is a Catholic one, shown on OS 6 inch 1st edn as the only building on the promontory formed where the River Glass and the River Cannich have their confluence (Comar, whence the local farm-name). The area is now rather more built up. For its dedication, note St Beathan's chapel at Clachan Comair, across the River Glass at NH334306, with its Sputan Bhàin (for Bheathain), at a distance of 1.24 km to the SW.
