The site of the original parish kirk of Banchory Ternan, it seems. Not to be confused with St Ternan's Episcopalian church in the same parish. See NMRS for further details. A slab incised with two Celtic crosses survives (NMRS). There was also a thriving late-medieval cult associated with St Ternan's Bell, now lost, which was probably an early medieval handbell. See Márkus 2009, 136-8.
