Notes

NMRS: built c.1220, but it is first mentioned in 1474 (citing Bain 1893). It was attached to the family of Geddes in Nairn, and the present building (built for Roses of Geddes and Kilravock) probably occupies the site of the original chapel. OSA xii, 391 discusses the state of the building, the charter of the chapel's foundation, and the terms of its grant.
