Notes
Formerly Kilmalie, the parish church of Golspie until 1619 (NMRS). The road separates the kirk site from the graveyard. There is a Kirkton nearby and a Bishop's Well. OS Digimap shows a house called Kilmaree 350 metres to the south, but this is a modern house with a modern name which bears no relation to the nearby church. It may be that the authors of the modern name have transferred it from somewhere else, for which they felt affection, or that they have misinterpreted the name Culmaily.
