Note that there is another church/chapel with the same name, Teampull Chaon, 3 km to the south across Loch Eishort, in Sleat Parish. No trace is now to be found. In 1910 the ruins were described as 'extensive', but the reporter was probably looking at the remains of a ruined house 120m to the north, locally known as An Teampull (NMRS).
